well its basically like plagerism otherwise. i know you do random things like "oh i changed this color" or put a different shirt on them, but you basically copy the photos line by line

amy.....a portrait from reference basically is. sometimes people use one of more facial references and do their own pose, which i do sometimes. but doing a portrait of someone is either having a real person or a real photo as a reference. even the friggin mona lisa was based off a refernce. he painted her exactly as she was

leonardo looked at a chick, thats different. people are capable of pulling faces out of their ass like that. not every portrait is a copy of a photo like yours are. you do sometimes? compare your reference photos to your drawings, they're basically identical.

1. you haven't even seen many of my reference photos

2. i can pull a face out of my ass. anyone who knows facial structure can. but i dont want to do a portrait style art piece of someone who doesnt exist.made up faces are what i use for crazy paintings and stuff. but portraits are of people. and my models are REAL people.
